Dog servicesin Euless, TX

Euless, TX has one city-run off-leash spot: the Dog Park at Villages of Bear Creek Park, 1951 Bear Creek Parkway. It is about three fenced, double-gated acres, split into a large-dog area for dogs over 40 pounds and a small-dog area for dogs under 40 pounds, with dog wash areas and shade. It is open during daylight hours and closed Thursdays for maintenance. Keep your dog leashed outside the fence, including on the way in and out.

At home, the city code allows no more than four dogs, cats or other animals, in any combination, past normal weaning age on one property. A dog kept in the yard must be fenced in or held by a line at least 10 feet long, and Texas law requires a rabies vaccine by four months of age. Dogs are welcome in all city parks on a leash.

If your dog goes missing, visit the shelter, fill out the city's Lost Pet Form or call Euless Animal Services at 817-685-1594. The shelter is at 1517 Westpark Way, and strays whose owners are not found are held 72 hours before adoption. An Animal Services Officer is on call 24 hours a day for emergencies through Police Communications at 817-685-1526.
