Affiliate disclosure
Last updated September 26, 2026. This page explains how DogServ is paid, so you can weigh what you read here.
Affiliate links, including Amazon
Some articles link to products we mention. When a link goes to a store, it runs through a dogserv.com address that starts with /go/, and if you buy through it, the store may pay DogServ a commission. The price you pay is the same.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Articles with affiliate links say so before the first product link. We only link a product in an article that already recommends that kind of product, and the article explains what to check before you buy. Pages for a dog emergency carry no affiliate links: a poisoning, a seizure, bloat, CPR, a dog that is vomiting or has diarrhea, parvo, or a lost dog. Neither does a Can My Dog Eat answer for a food that is toxic to dogs.
Services for dog businesses
DogServ was founded by Cal Hewitt, who also owns Web Leveling. Web Leveling sells web design, local SEO, review management and video marketing to dog businesses, and those services are offered on DogServ's pages for dog businesses, with prices on each service page.
The directory
The DogServ directory of dog services in Texas is free to be listed in. Paid Pro and Sponsored options for businesses are planned. Anything a business paid to place or promote will be labeled Sponsored.
The newsletter
Dog businesses can ask to be featured in the DogServ newsletter, free at launch. If features become paid, they will be labeled Sponsored.
