Dog servicesin Frisco, TX

In Frisco, TX, a lost dog is a two-agency search. Frisco Animal Services, a division of the Frisco Police Department, takes lost-pet reports and keeps a Lost & Found Map, and its dispatch line is 972-292-6010, with animal questions answered 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Strays picked up in Frisco are sheltered by Collin County Animal Services, open to visitors 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekends, and closed Mondays.

Frisco's animal ordinance summary keeps the house rules short: up to six dogs, cats or ferrets per home, no dogs tied outside without supervision, no running loose, and waste picked up on public or private property. Every dog over four months must have a rabies vaccine from a veterinarian. In city parks, dogs stay on a leash and are not allowed within 75 feet of athletic fields, playgrounds, restrooms, plazas or concessions.

For off-leash time, the city lists a dog park at Kaleidoscope Park, 6635 Warren Parkway, open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Ruff Range Dog Park. The city announced on September 19, 2026, that Northwest Community Park at 13770 Teel Parkway includes a five-acre dog park. Frisco Animal Services also asks residents to report coyote and bobcat sightings on its interactive map.
